ABOUT THE CLUSTER

Zero Gluten Cluster is a multidisciplinary innovation and collaboration platform dedicated to advancing the potential of gluten-free solutions across a broad spectrum of food-related sectors.

By uniting stakeholders from Academia, Industry, Government, and Society, the cluster brings together key actors from sectors such as Bread and Bakery Products, Pasta and Grains, Snacks and Crackers, Cereals and Breakfast Foods, Confectionery and Sweets, Flour Mixes and Baking Ingredients, Sauces, Soups, and Condiments, Frozen and Convenience Foods, Dairy Alternatives, Meat and Plant-Based Alternatives, Ready-to-Drink Beverages, Beer and Alcoholic Drinks, Nutritional Bars and Supplements, Desserts and Ice Cream, and Baby and Children’s Foods. Our goal is to foster a more inclusive, health-conscious, and sustainable food system centered on gluten-free innovation and accessibility.

Our mission also includes raising public awareness about gluten-related health issues and the benefits of gluten-free alternatives — encouraging curiosity, supporting education, and inspiring collective action through outreach, research, and creative collaboration. The cluster is primarily intended for EU-based quadruple helix stakeholders to drive gluten-free research, product development, policy engagement, and the creation of resilient, gluten-free value chains.
